What would happen if you had a goal of becoming a millionaire within five years? Would you start working harder at your job or would you take time off to pursue other interests?
Stephen Covey wrote The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People in 1989. He was inspired by his experiences from working with executives who achieved success through personal development. In his book he describes seven principles that anyone can follow to become successful.
Covey says that these habits are the key to achieving goals. If you want to achieve something big, you should focus on developing each habit.

You also need to be able to tell people “no” when they ask you to help them out with something you for whatever reason do not want to do. You shouldn’t be afraid to feel your feelings, but you need to learn to manage them.
Don’t be too hard on yourself if you say “no” when someone asks for something from you Instead, consider ways to turn down their requests into opportunities for yourself.
